In Kyiv, almost 2,000 houses remain without heating: some will remain without heat for a long time

More than 1,500 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heating, and it is still impossible to restore heat supply to some of them.

This was stated in a telethon by KMVA spokeswoman Kateryna Pop.

According to her, out of 2,600 houses that were previously without heating, only 400 houses remain without heat.

However, in two districts of the capital, there are over a thousand residential buildings that will remain without heat supply for a long time – until the end of the heating season.

“1,100 high-rise buildings in the Dnipro and Darnytsia districts after the previous shelling are also without heat; due to critical damage to the critical infrastructure facility that supplied the coolant, it is currently impossible to supply it,” Pop explained.

In addition, there have been accidents in some buildings. As the administration spokeswoman noted, their number reaches 200-300 units.

It is noted that where it is impossible to restore supply now, “loyal conditions for electricity” apply. In particular, houses are only disconnected from power during peak hours – morning and evening.

We remind you that in Kyiv, the heat supply has been restored in the Troyeschyna region, which disappeared after the Russian shelling , but it will take time for the houses to fully warm up.
