The most difficult situation with energy supply remains in Kyiv and the region. Hourly power outage schedules are not in effect.
This was reported by Acting Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov, the press service of the Ministry of Energy writes.
“The return to the predicted schedules will occur immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes. Emergency restoration work in the capital and Kyiv region continues around the clock, despite difficult weather conditions,” the report says.
Restrictions remain in place in the Odessa region, where emergency and recovery work is ongoing after previous attacks.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 74,000 consumers lost power as a result of night-time shelling. As of this morning, 40,000 subscribers remained without power.
“Due to adverse weather conditions, 12 settlements in Chernihiv and Kyiv regions have lost power. In most regions of Ukraine, hourly outage schedules are in effect for all categories of consumers, as well as capacity limitation schedules for industry,” the Ministry of Energy added.
