In Kyiv, the situation with heat supply in the area powered by CHP-4 is difficult
The Ministry of Energy held a regular meeting of the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations in Kyiv and the region. The situation in the area powered by CHPP-4 remains the most difficult.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
The department noted that the restoration of heat supply in this area is not expected in the near future. In this regard, energy workers will provide improved electricity supply schedules for consumers.
According to the ministry, 64 repair crews were involved in restoring power supply in the capital.
The Ministry of Energy also informed about the status of distributed generation. Work on the installation and commissioning of cogeneration gas plants is continuing according to the approved schedule. In the near future, it is planned to launch plants with a capacity of 9 and 18 MW.
Along with the launch of new equipment, ensuring the physical protection of these energy facilities remains a key task.
In addition, 596 tons of humanitarian cargo will arrive in Ukraine this week through the Emergency Energy Assistance Hub. It will include transformers, insulators, generators, and other equipment that will be transferred to energy companies, local authorities, and critical infrastructure facilities across the country.
As previously reported, on February 3 , Russia struck the most powerful blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since the beginning of 2026. Electricity generation and distribution facilities were under attack.
