In Lutsk, the TCC allegedly detained Spider-Man: what was actually in the photo has been revealed.

Photos and videos circulated online recently, allegedly showing soldiers from the Lutsk Transport Center detaining a man dressed as Spider-Man. However, it turned out that this content was created using artificial intelligence.

Ulyana Kravchuk, press secretary of the Volyn Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, reported this in a comment to ZAXID.NET.

Initially, images and videos of the supposed “apprehension of Spider-Man” began to spread on anonymous Telegram channels. This content was subsequently picked up by local media outlets.

According to Kravchuk, the image was fact-checked by the VoxCheck fact-checking team. Experts discovered a SynthID digital watermark, automatically added to content created using a neural network, in the photo and video.

Thus, the information about the alleged “mobilization of Spider-Man” in Lutsk turned out to be fake.

A representative of the TCC urged people not to trust sensational social media posts without verification and to critically evaluate such content, especially given the capabilities of modern artificial intelligence.
