In Lviv, a man pepper-sprayed a serviceman of the Central Criminal Investigation Department and two police officers. He faces 3 to 5 years of restriction of liberty.
This was reported by the Communications Group of the Lviv OTCC and SP.
The incident occurred on February 26 at around 08:15. The military, together with the police, stopped two men to check their military registration documents.
“In response to a completely legitimate demand, one of the citizens took out a pepper spray and used it against a serviceman and two police officers,” the CCC noted.
All three suffered eye and respiratory irritation and were taken to the hospital.
“Illegal actions against military personnel and law enforcement officers will not go unpunished,” the recruiting center emphasized.
It was later revealed that the men were military registration violators. One of them was taken to the CCC, passed a military medical examination, and was found fit for service.
The attacker has already been declared a suspect.
It should be added that citizens were once again urged to abide by the law and remember that “any aggression against representatives of the Defense Forces is a criminal offense.”
We will remind you that on Tuesday, February 24, in Lutsk, during an alert event, a man began shooting at servicemen of the CCC and SP.
As reported, on Tuesday, February 24, in Kryvyi Rih, a man stabbed a serviceman of the territorial recruitment and social support center.
