In Lviv, medical facilities and electric transport were cut off due to new Cabinet rules

In Lviv, some hospitals and all municipal electric transport were disconnected from electricity starting tonight. The city switched to new schedules due to the Government’s change in approach to defining critical enterprises.

This is reported by Andriy Sadovyi.

According to him, due to the new rules, hospitals and electric transport have been included in the regular outage groups. As a result, ventilators, trams and trolleybuses must now operate on hourly power outage schedules.

The mayor called the situation critical and said that he would try to contact members of the Cabinet of Ministers in the morning to urgently correct this decision. In parallel, Lviv is urgently planning alternative options for increasing the operation of electric transport on routes.

As previously reported, a large-scale power outage occurred in Berlin on January 3 due to arson at the Lichterfelde power plant, leaving about 45,000 households and over 2,000 commercial properties without power.

We will remind you that on the morning of December 27, almost a third of Kyiv was left without heat supply due to Russian shelling.
