In Lviv, stained glass windows of the Church of Saints Olga and Elizabeth were damaged after an enemy strike

As a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on January 15, stained glass windows in the architectural monument – the Church of Saints Olga and Elizabeth – were damaged.
This was stated by the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi.
According to him, on January 15, 2026, the occupiers attacked a playground on Stepana Bandera Street in Lviv with a combat drone .
Utility workers who were clearing snow nearby at the time were not injured.
The impact shattered windows in nearby residential buildings, as well as in the buildings of the Lviv Polytechnic, a school, and a college. An architectural monument suffered some damage – stained glass windows were damaged in the Church of Saints Olga and Elizabeth.
In addition, temporary changes to public transport services have been introduced in the city due to the attack.
