In Montenegro, a 21-year-old Ukrainian man driving a BMW swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a car in Prime Minister Milojko Spajic’s motorcade. Three people were injured in the accident.

RTCG reports this, citing a police report.

The accident occurred on February 18 on the Mateševo-Kolašin highway near the village of Skrbuša. According to investigators, the BMW driver, for unknown reasons, crossed a solid line, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with a Mercedes police car driven by a police officer.

The first escort vehicle, which contained two law enforcement officers in addition to the driver, was struck. All three sustained injuries and required emergency medical attention.

Police noted that the person accompanying the motorcade was not injured. The BMW driver was detained on suspicion of violating traffic regulations, which led to an accident with injuries.
