In Mykolaiv region, civilians with bats and metal pipes attacked the TPC: details of the incident

On Sunday, August 3, in the village of Buzke in the Mykolaiv region, unknown individuals with bats and metal pipes attacked representatives of the territorial procurement center.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional TPC and SP.

This happened during the military’s joint alert activities with the National Police.

As it became known, armed civilians damaged a car and injured a soldier from the alert group.

“For the purpose of self-defense, this serviceman fired a shot from a device for firing non-lethal rounds (traumatic pistol) registered in accordance with current legislation,” the TPC said in a statement.

It is noted that there are also civilian casualties.

Law enforcement agencies are working at the scene of the incident.

“We remind you that insulting honor and dignity, threatening murder, violence, or destruction or damage to property of a serviceman participating in measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as his family, is punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of three to five years,” the press service reminded, adding that in the event of bodily harm, the attackers will face a more severe punishment.

In addition, the territorial recruitment center noted that such actions could also be qualified as obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We will remind you that in Vinnytsia, a conflict arose between citizens and representatives of the TPC  , in particular, a crowd gathered near the stadium with a call to release the men who were detained by the military.
