In Nikopol, Russians began dropping leaflets with threats to residents: authorities warned of hostile IPSO
In Nikopol, Russian troops dropped propaganda leaflets with threats and disinformation. Local authorities are urging residents not to succumb to provocations and to trust only official information.
This was reported by the head of the Nikopol Regional Police Department Ivan Bazyluk.
According to him, Russian troops have once again dropped leaflets on the territory of the community. These materials spread threats and false statements with the aim of disorienting the population.
In particular, in the postcards:
- they threaten with “destruction of civilian equipment”;
- they call for waiting for the “arrival of liberators”;
- spreading rumors about an alleged “offensive”.
“Those who call themselves “liberators” shell our cities and villages every day. It is their actions that lead to the deaths of civilians, the destruction of housing and infrastructure. All these “warnings” are not concern. This is an attempt to intimidate, make people panic and lose trust in the real situation,” said Ivan Bazyluk.
He emphasized that such actions are an element of the information war against Ukraine.
The head of the RVA urged residents to follow simple safety rules:
- not to give in to provocations;
- ignore such postcards;
- not to distribute their content;
- If detected, notify law enforcement.
“Trust only official information. We see the truth every day — and it has nothing to do with what the enemy writes,” said Ivan Bazyluk.
The day before, the Russians attacked Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with a drone . As a result of the enemy strike, one person was killed and another was injured.
Recall that on April 4, Russian occupiers struck Nikopol with FPV drones , five people died as a result of the attack.
