In Odessa, a drunk police officer with a gun attacked the TCC soldiers.

In Odessa, an intoxicated police officer threatened service members of a territorial recruitment center with a gun, after which he smashed the window of their car.

The State Bureau of Investigation reported this.

According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred on October 27 at approximately 9:35 PM. TCC and SP officers stopped a car to check documents when another vehicle approached. An armed man emerged from the vehicle, threatened the soldiers, and smashed the window of the service vehicle with a rifle butt before fleeing.

The perpetrator was soon detained by other law enforcement officers. It turned out he was a police officer who was intoxicated. His weapon was confiscated and he was cited for driving under the influence.

The State Bureau of Investigation has opened a criminal investigation into a threat to law enforcement officers (Part 1 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This article carries penalties of correctional labor, probation supervision, or up to three years of restriction of liberty or imprisonment.

As a reminder, a clash between TCC servicemen and employees of a local enterprise occurred in Kovel, Volyn Oblast, on September 19. The conflict began after a conscription-age man refused to present his military registration documents and attempted to flee to the premises of the Gazeta enterprise.
