In Odessa, a man took an ambulance crew hostage.

In Odessa , a man claiming to be a military man attempted to take an emergency medical team hostage and threatened its crew.

This was reported by the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of the Odessa Region .

According to medical personnel, the man first repeatedly threatened the 103 dispatchers and then locked the Emergency Medical Services team No. 26, which had arrived in response to a call for his mother, in the room.

It is noted that he threatened the doctor and paramedic with lynching, as well as with dismissal and mobilization.

Law enforcement, security, and mental health personnel arrived at the scene. Thanks to their combined efforts, tragedy was averted.
