In Odessa, a man was hospitalized after a traffic accident: the military commented on the incident

The Odessa Regional CCC and SP commented on the story with photos shared online showing a bloodied man.

The Territorial Recruitment Center reported that during mobilization notification events in Odessa, representatives of the CCC and the National Police stopped a man who, as it later turned out, was wanted.

“The officials explained to the citizen his legal status and suggested that he go to the CCC and SP unit to clarify the data. The person voluntarily agreed to be accompanied,” the center said in a statement.

It is reported that upon arriving at his destination, the man displayed “unmotivated aggression” and committed “destructive acts.” After that, he allegedly intentionally inflicted bodily harm on himself, sustaining a head injury.

The military provided him with first aid and called for medics, and later the man was taken to a specialized medical facility.

The next day, according to the CCC, the citizen was overcome by a second attack of aggression. It is noted that his actions threatened the people around him.

After that, the man was isolated in a specialized room with limited access.

“We would like to inform you separately: the information regarding the mistreatment of an animal (dog) that belonged to a citizen is a deliberate manipulation. During the owner’s hospitalization, the animal was provided with care and food on the territory of the CCC and SP unit. On the morning of February 10, the dog was handed over to relatives in satisfactory condition,” the press service added.

Now, the CCC leadership has initiated an official investigation to provide a “legal assessment of the actions of all participants in the event.”

As previously reported, a man who was taken to the territorial recruitment center to check his military registration data died in Yavoriv, Lviv region .
