In Poland, a Ukrainian attacked people with a knife in a monastery: one died

In the Polish city of Jarosław, a 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen attacked five people with a knife at a Benedictine nunnery. One of the injured men died and four others were injured.

This was reported by TVN24 with reference to the police.

The attack occurred on September 24 at around 9:30 a.m. on the territory of the Yaroslavl Abbey on Benedyktynska Street in the Podkarpacie Voivodeship.

According to preliminary information from law enforcement, a man stabbed four men and one woman. All five were taken to the hospital, three of the men suffered serious injuries.

Police later reported that one of the injured men had died.

Law enforcement officers detained a 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen at the scene. The knife, which was allegedly used in the attack, was also seized.

Among the injured are clergy. There is currently no information on whether the injured woman belongs to the Benedictine nuns community.

The motive for the attack has not yet been established. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances and sequence of events.

Recall that earlier in Poland , a Ukrainian man was attacked with a knife while selling a car . The man received 14 knife wounds.
