In Saratov, the OZON refinery and logistics center caught fire after a drone attack

On the night of September 11, drones attacked the Saratov oil refinery in Russia. The attack caused a fire at the facility. The logistics center and delivery hub of the OZON marketplace in Saratov were also hit.

The fires were reported by Russian monitoring channels. At around 2 a.m., Saratov Oblast Governor Roman Busargin announced a drone threat in the region and put emergency services on alert.

“Locally, warning systems can operate in places of possible threat. All emergency services are on full alert,” Busargin said.

The OZON press service later confirmed the attack on their facility. They stated that the employees were quickly evacuated, and according to preliminary data, there were no injuries.

“Our logistics center and delivery hub in Saratov came under attack by a UAV. We quickly evacuated employees, according to preliminary information, there were no injuries. A fire broke out, emergency services are working on the scene,” the company said in a statement.

Explosions were also reported in Engels, Saratov Region. Information about the consequences of the attack on the oil refinery is being clarified.
