In Ternopil region, a school bus collided with a car: one injured

At around 8:15 on January 29, a traffic accident involving a school bus and a Skoda Fabia passenger car occurred in the village of Zagorodya, Vyshnivetsky community, Ternopil region. As a result of the collision, a passenger in the passenger car, born in 1961, was injured and was hospitalized.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

According to investigators, the bus driver drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Skoda Fabia. Blood samples were taken from the drivers to test for alcohol content. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Another car accident occurred in Ternopil on Hrushevskoho Street. The driver of an Audi A6, while reversing in a yard, hit a Ternopil woman born in 1953 who was crossing the road outside the pedestrian crossing. The man called an ambulance and reported the incident to the “102” hotline.

Investigators are currently establishing all the circumstances of both accidents and interviewing witnesses. Both cases have been classified as accidents with victims, in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

By the way, on January 17, a regular bus traveling from Vienna to Kyiv was involved in a traffic accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Lyubintsy .

We would like to remind you that on January 4, a traffic accident involving 2 cars occurred in the Zolochiv district of Lviv region. As a result of the collision, 4 people were injured, including 11-year-old and 17-year-old boys.
