In the case of the murder of the Moseychuk brothers, the prosecutor announced details incriminating the commander of the 155th Brigade.

During a court hearing where pretrial detention measures are being determined for Stanislav Luchanov, commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Prosecutor Sergei Mirzoyan revealed the investigation’s version of events regarding the kidnapping and murder of the Moseychuk brothers in the Kyiv region.

Hromadske reports this.

According to the prosecutor, investigators believe that Luchanov recruited his subordinates Ruslan Dmitruk, Andriy Zayets, Oleksandr Pertsul, Vyacheslav Artamonov, Bogdan Shurko, Maksym Mikitenko, Roman Kozak, and Serhiy Kolomiets to participate in the crime, instructing them to assign roles and organize the crime.

According to the prosecution, on the night of June 27, military personnel arrived at the Moseychuk brothers’ home in the village of Kalynivka in the Kyiv region and illegally entered the property. Investigators allege that one of the suspects, Andriy Zayets, shot Roman Moseychuk twice, wounding him in the leg. The brothers were then beaten, bound, blindfolded, and forced into a Mercedes Vito and a Mitsubishi L200.

The prosecutor reported that after the abduction, the brothers were taken to military unit A5001 near Poltava, where they were illegally held until July 1.

According to the investigation, on July 1, Stanislav Luchanov allegedly decided to kill the brothers to cover up their kidnapping. To carry out this order, the prosecution alleges, he enlisted the help of battalion commander Alexei Dolgalenko.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Dolgalenko first took Maksym Moseychuk to a firing range near Poltava and shot him in the head. He then took Roman Moseychuk there, where, according to the prosecutor, he fired at least eight shots. Both men died instantly.

The investigation also claims that Dolgalenko then buried the brothers’ bodies in a pre-prepared hole on the training ground’s grounds and reported the order to Luchanov.

All circumstances presented in court are the prosecution’s version and will be verified during further legal proceedings.

As a reminder, State Bureau of Investigation officers detained a soldier from the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skala” suspected of violence against his colleagues . The investigation is establishing the circumstances of two incidents that resulted in injuries to a military chaplain and a lieutenant colonel.
