In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a colonel and three soldiers demanded $20,000 for transferring a soldier to the rear.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained 4 people who demanded $20,000 from a serviceman for a transfer from the front to the rear. Among those detained are a colonel, 2 soldiers, and a retired military man.

According to the investigation, the suspects were approached by an acquaintance of a serviceman who was performing combat missions on the front line. During a private conversation, she told them about the difficult conditions of his service. The woman was offered to “resolve the issue” and organize the transfer of the serviceman to the rear. For this, they demanded 20 thousand dollars.
Initially, the serviceman was supposed to transfer $10,000. However, after receiving the money, the promised transfer did not take place – he was only transferred from the combat exits to the command and observation post.
When the soldier began to demand the fulfillment of the agreements, the defendants began to threaten to return to the front line. In particular, they stated that instead of serving in the KSP, he could end up on the front line again. The defendants ordered another 10 thousand dollars to be transferred to a crypto wallet. Immediately after the transfer, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine detained all 4 people.
During the searches, law enforcement officers seized part of the previously received funds, draft records, and several forged passports of Ukrainian citizens. The four detainees were informed of suspicion of abuse of influence committed in a prior conspiracy by a group of persons under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to 8 years of imprisonment.
The detainees were remanded in custody with the possibility of bail. The possible involvement of other persons in the crime is also being investigated.
Recall that the Security Service of Ukraine detained the former commander of the territorial defense brigade in the Kyiv region and three of his accomplices . According to the investigation, they collected more than UAH 12 million for the purchase of 580 FPV drones for the Ukrainian military in the Kharkiv direction, but the drones were never transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
