In the Kyiv region, a drunk driver crashed into a crash barrier: a child was injured

In the Brovary region, a 40-year-old drunk driver of a VAZ crashed into a metal bumper. As a result of the accident, a 10-year-old passenger in the car was injured and hospitalized.

This is reported by the Kyiv region police.

The accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chernihiv highway near the village of Semipolky.

According to law enforcement, the driver did not take into account the road conditions and did not choose a safe speed, which caused him to collide with a metal wheel guard.

After the accident, law enforcement officers detained the man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Investigators under the procedural guidance of the Brovary District Prosecutor’s Office informed the driver of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

We would like to remind you that a fatal road accident occurred in the Haisyn district of Vinnytsia region , in which two young children died. The accident occurred on the evening of September 21 near the village of Vyscha-Kropivna.
