In the Kyiv region, a man stabbed his underage sister to death: details of the bloody tragedy

A terrible tragedy occurred in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region – a 25-year-old man killed his own underage sister. Law enforcement officers detained the perpetrator immediately after the crime and informed him of the suspicion. For the intentional murder of the girl, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police.

The incident occurred on September 2 at around 3:30 p.m. The Bila Tserkva District Police Department received a call from a local resident who reported a girl’s body found on the stairs of a high-rise building.

Investigators found that on the eve of the tragedy, the suspect was at home with his 17-year-old sister. A conflict arose between them, during which the man grabbed a knife and stabbed the girl. She tried to escape, ran out of the apartment, but her brother caught up with her on the landing and inflicted several more fatal wounds. The minor died on the spot from the injuries she received.

The patrol officers who arrived on the call discovered and immediately detained the attacker. He was placed in a temporary detention center, and the seized physical evidence became part of the investigation.

Under the procedural guidance of the Bila Tserkva District Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect was officially informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – premeditated murder. Law enforcement officials note that the man faces up to 15 years in prison.
