On the morning of October 7, unknown partisans blew up the track on the Stroganovo-Mshinsk railway section in the Leningrad Region.

This was reported by Ukrinform, citing an interlocutor in the Main Intelligence Directorate.

As a result of the actions of the partisans, the locomotive and carriages of a train carrying military cargo derailed.

In addition, the special operation paralyzed train traffic on the St. Petersburg-Pskov route.

Instead, Russian Railways assured that traffic on the section was stopped due to “technical problems.” Currently, freight and passenger trains are delayed for several hours, as they are taking a detour.

The internet has been shut down at the scene. Special services and law enforcement are working there. Specialists are clearing the railway section of overturned cars.

As emphasized by Ukrainian intelligence, such actions significantly affect the capabilities of the Russians, since the railway is the main logistical route for the occupation army and a financial donor to the “war budget.”

Previously, Ukrainian partisans stopped the supply of resources to the southern regions for the Russian army, paralyzing logistics in the occupied territories.

As a reminder, partisans sabotaged the railway near the settlement of Volnovakha , preventing the supply of ammunition, equipment, and personnel to the aggressor country, Russia.
