In the Odessa region, a man spontaneously stole a TCC official car: details of the incident

In the Odessa district, police detained a 43-year-old man who unexpectedly stole a company car of the territorial recruitment and social support center. According to law enforcement, he explained this act as impulsive, without a pre-thought-out plan.

This was reported by the Odessa region police.

The incident occurred while the man was on his way to a medical examination at the military medical board. After getting into the service car, he suddenly moved to the front seat and drove off, leaving the real driver right on the street.

After that, the kidnapper abandoned the car on the outskirts of the village and went home, grabbing the driver’s bag with personal documents from the passenger compartment.

The police quickly tracked down the man and recovered the stolen items. During interrogation, he admitted that he had no intention of committing a crime, but had acted spontaneously.

The man has already been charged with illegal seizure of transport and theft of documents. He faces up to five years in prison. The court has imposed a preventive measure – house arrest.
