In the Odessa region, on Tuesday, October 14, law enforcement officers caught the head of one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers taking a bribe. According to the investigation, the official demanded $2,000 for “help” with military documents and promised to influence the draft issue.
According to the Odessa region police, the official demanded money for assistance in making a new military registration document, removal from the wanted list in the electronic system as a person who had not updated his registration data, as well as for granting a deferral from mobilization.
