In the US, generals were urged to prepare for war

The head of the US Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, called on senior generals to prepare for war.
He said this during a meeting in Virginia.
“Prepare for war. Not because we want war. Because we want peace,” the official emphasized.
According to him, peace is only deserved by those who are willing to wage war to protect it.
“This is why pacifism is so naive and dangerous… Either you defend your people and sovereignty, or you will obey something or someone,” Hegset is convinced.
Earlier, Trump instructed the Pentagon to prepare to deter China and Russia , noting that these measures are not aimed at provoking conflict, but are aimed at restoring the fighting spirit of the army and maintaining deterrence at the global level.
