In Transcarpathia, a drunken TCC manager tried to mobilize men

In the Zakarpattia region, an internal investigation was ordered and the head of the first department of the Khust district TCC was suspended following online reports that he allegedly attempted to mobilize workers repairing a bridge while intoxicated.

This was announced by the Transcarpathian Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support .

Earlier, journalist Vitaly Glagola reported that Alexey Travov, the head of the Irshava Central Transport Circle, allegedly arrived at the bridge repair site to serve summonses to workers. According to him, the official was allegedly intoxicated and carrying a machine gun, which led to a conflict.

The TCC confirmed that they had launched an internal investigation “regarding the incident that took place yesterday.” Based on the investigation’s findings, they promised to make appropriate decisions, including personnel ones. While the circumstances were being investigated, the head of the 1st Department of the Khust District TCC was suspended from his duties.

At the same time, the center did not confirm the information about the official’s possible alcohol intoxication and called on citizens to be responsible about disseminating unverified information.

“The management’s position is clear and consistent: decisions will be made solely based on the results of the audit and in accordance with the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation,” the agency noted.
