In the Transcarpathian region, an attempt to break into the territory of a military facility occurred near the premises of the 2nd department of the Khust RTCC and SP in the village of Mizhhirya. The CCC stated that the attack was localized, and journalist Vitaliy Glagola reported shooting during the incident.

The department stated that a group of people tried to force their way into the territory of the 2nd department of the Khust RTCC and the Joint Police Station in Mizhhirya and ignored the lawful demands of the on-duty unit.
“Today, an attempt was made to attack the premises of the 2nd department of the Khust RTCC and SP in the village of Mizhgirya. A group of people tried to force their way into the territory of the military facility, ignoring the lawful demands of the on-duty unit,” the CCC reported.
They added that thanks to the operational actions of the personnel, the threat was localized and the attack was repelled.
The CCC also noted that law enforcement agencies will provide a legal assessment of the incident and make a decision in accordance with current legislation.
The day before, journalist Vitaliy Glagola reported that the conflict near the CCC building in Mizhhirya arose after the mobilization of a local representative of the Roma community.
According to him, about 30 people gathered near the building after that. The journalist claims that the crowd tried to break down the door and break into the CCC premises.
“During the conflict, CCC employees opened fire,” Vitaliy Glagola reported.
According to the journalist, at least 4 shots were fired. He stated that most of them were fired from a starting pistol, and at least 1 shot from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Glagola also reported that, according to his sources, the shot from the assault rifle was fired with a blank cartridge.
Separately, the journalist stated that the CCC leadership initially allegedly denied the shooting. According to him, at first the version was voiced that there were no shots fired, and later – about “two blank shots.”
Later, Vitaliy Glagola published information about a surveillance camera video, in which, according to him, shots can be heard and an attempt to break into the CCC building can be seen.
“The footage shows gunshots and chaos at the entrance,” the journalist wrote.
He also stated that law enforcement officers must establish who exactly opened fire, what weapon was used, why there were blank cartridges in the machine gun, and who tried to hide the real number of shots fired.
By the way, in the Soborni district of Dnipro, a local resident opened fire on an alert group during events with the participation of representatives of the territorial recruitment and social support center.
Earlier, an explosion occurred near the territorial procurement center in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.
