In Ukraine, a payment of 6,500 UAH was assigned: who will receive the money and how

The Cabinet of Ministers has designated a one-time assistance of 6.5 thousand hryvnias for children with disabilities of subgroup A in front-line regions.

This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

Payments will be received by families in nine regions: Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Sumy and Zaporizhia.

The lists are formed based on the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere. After verifying the data, the Pension Fund informs recipients about the possibility of receiving funds.

Notifications are sent through the “Diya” application. If this is not possible, people are informed by phone or email with an explanation of further actions.

The assistance is received by one of the child’s legal representatives, who is already applying for state social assistance.

The funds are credited to the bank account where other social payments are received.

Only those families who did not use the Winter Support program in the 2025-2026 season will receive the payment.

The money comes in non-cash form, and it can be used for any needs of the child.
