In Ukraine, monthly pension supplements are planned for women who have raised 5 or more children in 2026. The amount of the supplement may exceed 1,000 hryvnias, but it is not automatically accrued.

The legislation provides for a separate support mechanism for women who have given birth to or adopted children and raised them until at least 6 years of age.
This category is provided with a monthly allowance within the framework of the pension system for special services to Ukraine. Such women are also entitled to early retirement after reaching the age of 50 with at least 15 years of insurance experience.
In 2026, the amount of the allowance is tied to the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work, which is 2,595 hryvnias.
The actual amount of the supplement depends on the number of children and ranges from 35% to 40% of this figure.
Thus, the monthly allowance ranges from 908 hryvnias to 1038 hryvnias.
The supplement may be paid together with other pension supplements, but it is assigned only after submitting an application.
To register, you must contact the Pension Fund in person or through electronic services and submit:
- passport and identification code;
- documents confirming insurance experience;
- birth certificates of children.
In some cases, additional documents may be required to confirm the fact of raising children under 6 years of age.
A refusal to grant an allowance may be received if:
- children were not raised until the age of 6;
- there are no supporting documents;
- The insurance period does not meet the requirements.
Similar rules apply to men if they were the ones who actually raised 5 or more children.
The size of the pension also depends on the length of insurance and the level of official income from which contributions were paid, which affects the final amount of payments.
