In Vinnytsia, a man with a knife attacked a serviceman of the CCC

In Vinnytsia, a man wanted for violating military registration attacked a serviceman of the territorial recruitment and social support center with a knife. The victim was provided with medical assistance, and the attacker was detained and criminal proceedings were opened.

This is reported by the Vinnytsia Regional CCC and SP.

According to the CCC, the incident occurred on July 25, 2026. A citizen of Ukraine, who had been listed as a military registration violator since 2025, was taken to the CCC and the Joint Service to clarify his military registration data.

During the delivery, the man began to behave aggressively, used obscene language towards the servicemen, took out a folding knife and injured one of the representatives of the alert group.

The victim was provided with medical assistance. His health condition is assessed as satisfactory.

A criminal case has been opened into the attack on the serviceman. The attacker was detained in accordance with the procedure established by current legislation. The CCC noted that he faces liability under several articles of the Criminal Code.

The Vinnytsia Regional CCC and the Joint Service also recalled that obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intentionally causing bodily harm or encroaching on the life of a serviceman may be punishable by imprisonment, including up to life imprisonment.

Recall that in Kharkiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who, during his detention , wounded a serviceman of the territorial recruitment center with a knife and tried to attack a police officer. To stop the attacker, the law enforcement officer used a service firearm.

Previously, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, detained a man who attacked a law enforcement officer during a conflict with representatives of the territorial procurement center (TCK) in Lviv .
