In Vinnytsia, police detained five citizens after a clash with CCC employees

In Vinnytsia, law enforcement officers opened a criminal case on the fact of an attempted seizure of a state institution against citizens who were protesting near the Lokomotiv stadium.

This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia region police.

“On the night of August 1-2, about 80 people, including representatives of a public organization, arrived at the CCC facility with a demand to release a man who was taken by servicemen as a person wanted for evading military service,” the report says.

The press service of the law enforcement agency said that during the protests, the gate was damaged, and some of those present made their way onto the territory of the institution.

In turn, the police used special forces to push people away and stop further violations of public order.

Currently, investigators have begun an investigation into proceedings under Article 341 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – seizure of state or public buildings or structures.

It is also known that five people involved, aged 21 to 33, were detained in a procedural manner.

“We urge citizens to comply with current legislation and not to obstruct law enforcement agencies in the performance of their official duties,” the police emphasized.
