In Vinnytsia region, a passenger car collided with a truck: the driver died

On Wednesday, March 4, a passenger car and a truck with a semi-trailer collided in the Vinnytsia region.

This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia region police.

“At around 07:30 near the village of Sokyryntsi, Vinnytsia district, an accident occurred involving a passenger car and a truck with a semi-trailer,” the post says.

As a result of the collision, the 59-year-old driver of the Seat Ibiza died at the scene. There was no information about injuries to other participants in the accident.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Police are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the accident.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, February 26, a fatal road accident occurred at a railway crossing in the village of Dubivtsi, Mamayivska hromada, Chernivtsi district. A Kia Sorento car collided with a diesel locomotive.

As reported, in Kryvyi Rih on Monday, February 9, a car hit an 11-year-old boy right at a pedestrian crossing . The child was hospitalized in serious condition.
