Ukrenergo reported that during the winter period, the electricity supply situation in Ukraine may be unstable and change daily.
The head of the company, Vitaly Zaychenko, spoke about this.
According to him, energy companies prepared for the heating season using several scenarios, ranging from optimistic to crisis-like. However, due to constant attacks by Russian drones and missiles on energy infrastructure, these forecasts have to be regularly revised.
“We are doing everything possible to ensure that Ukrainians have electricity throughout the heating season,” Zaichenko assured.
It was previously reported that the Russian army had begun to destroy energy regions in Ukraine , using scorched earth tactics.
As reported, on Wednesday, October 22, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Incidentally, the capital is experiencing large-scale problems with electricity and public transport due to the consequences of another missile attack by Russia.
