In temporarily occupied Crimea, as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones on July 10, the Moynaki electrical substation in Yevpatoria caught fire.

This was reported by the telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.

Reports appeared on social media about a hit on an electrical substation at 149 International Street.

“In Yevpatoria, after arrival, the Moynaky 110/35/10 kV electrical substation caught fire,” the report says.

According to available information, Yevpatoria and nearby settlements were left without electricity.

In addition, the Telegram channel previously reported that drones were spotted near Yevpatoria, over the village of Uyutne. They tried to shoot them down, but were unsuccessful. Later, an explosion was heard, after which the power supply in Yevpatoria disappeared.

It is noted that a large-scale modernization of the substation worth about 1 billion rubles was carried out in 2024. During the reconstruction, power transformers were replaced, and the total capacity of the facility was increased almost fourfold – to 126 MVA.

It was previously reported that on the night of July 10, drones also attacked the seaport in Taganrog, Russia, and the Ilya Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai . Heavy smoke was recorded in the port area after the hits.
