In Zaporizhia, a drunk policeman fired 13 shots at the military: three people were injured

In Zaporizhia region, a police officer opened fire on three servicemen. This happened as a result of a sudden conflict.

This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.

As the investigation found out, on November 23, a law enforcement officer, while off-duty, while in a state of alcoholic intoxication, had a conflict with the military in one of the villages of the Zaporizhia region.

During the exchange of fire, he pulled out his service weapon and fired at least 13 times at the men.

Three soldiers were injured in the shooting and were taken to a medical facility.

The next day after the conflict, under the procedural guidance of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the police officer was reported on suspicion of committing a completed attempt to murder two or more people — Part 2 of Article 15, Clause 1 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is currently being resolved.

Earlier, in the Poltava region, while processing documents at the assembly point of the Kremenchuk Territorial Recruitment Center, a conscript opened fire .

As a reminder, in Vinnytsia, police officers detained a man who opened fire near a shopping center . A conflict arose between two local residents, as a result of which one of them wounded the other with a shot from a pistol, previously an air gun.
