Although the formal powers are a thing of the past, certain management levers and resources are still in the hands of the former head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak. This state of affairs is due to the long stay of the person involved at the center of decision-making.

Political strategist Oleksiy Golobutskyi analyzed the current status of the former politician in a conversation on the “Pryamiy” TV channel.

“I started calling him vice president in 2000, and I have called him that throughout this period. It was a unique combination of personality and position,” the studio guest noted and added that even without official status, certain resources allow this person to remain a significant player in the corrupt state system.

According to him, there is currently a process of “demonization” of Yermak, who has become a convenient object for shifting responsibility for all negative events in the state. At the same time, Golobutskyi noted a decrease in the activity of loyal media resources and bloggers, who previously created a positive image of the official.

According to the political strategist, Yermak still has financial resources, but he no longer sees any point in spending them on maintaining a wide network of media support.

Recall, the NV publication studied the declarations of the top officials of the Office of the President and identified officials whose family incomes for 2025 turned out to be higher than the rest of their colleagues.

In first place are Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the OP, and her partner Pavlo Polyarush. The publication recalled that Iryna Mudra remained in the OP after the dismissal of Andriy Yermak, despite rumors that she could head the Ministry of Justice.

In second place – far behind Mudra – is the “diplomatic” deputy head of the OP, Ihor Zhovkva. In third place are the spouses of the deputy head of the OP, Viktor Mykyta.

By the way, in early March it became known that the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, became the chairman of the Committee of the National Association of Lawyers on the Protection of Victims of Armed Aggression against Ukraine. This organization is headed by a former associate of Viktor Medvedchuk.
