Intelligence stated that telegrams should be systematized in Ukraine

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, is convinced that the work of the Telegram messenger should be streamlined in Ukraine.

He said this in an interview with Apostrophe TV.

“I am absolutely for closing the Telegram social network. Not just closing it, but, let’s say, systematizing it – equate Telegram channels with mass media, specify who the owner is. Let everyone understand who the owner is, where the information comes from. Let them pay taxes in the end. This is right,” Budanov said.

At the same time, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate added that the main thing is that there are no anonymous people.

Kirill Budanov also expressed the opinion that during the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, they still have not learned to observe the rules of information hygiene.
