Internet outages in Kyiv after Russian attack

Internet outages have occurred in Kyiv following the Russian attack. Providers “Pavutina” and UTELS reported connection problems.
This was reported by providers in their official Telegram channels – “Pavutуna” and UTELS .
“Pavutynа” announced a large-scale accident as a result of Russian shelling. According to the company, one of its data centers was damaged, which may leave some subscribers without access to the Internet.
The provider’s specialists are carrying out emergency recovery work.
UTELS also reported the outages. According to the operator, the attack damaged the data center in Kyiv, where the company’s main equipment is located.
The equipment was out of power, which may cause network outages or temporary service outages for some users. Emergency crews are working to restore the equipment and network.
At the same time, the city authorities did not separately report damage to the data center. It is known that on the morning of September 23, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones. Hits and fires were recorded in several areas of the capital.
As of now, one person has died and 8 others have been injured in the attack.
As a reminder, on the morning of September 23 , a Russian UAV hit a gas station in Kyiv . Warehouses and transport infrastructure facilities were also damaged in the capital.
