A few intriguing moments about the victory of “Tysy” and Magyar, who received a constitutional majority in the Hungarian parliament.

First, Magyar actively used opposition media and social networks—this helped to circumvent a kind of telethon named after Orban.

Two. He was adept at removing the labels that his opponents attached to him. One of them was the statement that Peter was a swindler and a cheater who was behind his successful wife’s back. Magyar’s ex-wife, Judit Varga, was Orbán’s minister of justice. And the reason for the “swindler” was that Magyar took maternity leave so his wife could pursue a career as a lawyer in Brussels in the 2000s.

What is a cuckold for one type of audience? He is a caring father and partner for other types of audiences. Then, Orban’s propaganda somewhat adjusted the image of Magyar—they tried to portray him as an abuser and a brat. But here, the winner of the elections himself told how his ex raised his fists at him.

Three. Orban and Co. blackmailed their opponent with an intimate video from a party. But Magyar said BEFORE publication that he was a young, free man and, of course, engaged in intimate activities. Moreover, this is done by mutual consent and with adults present. So the video never came out.

Four. An important milestone is the public appearance of the popular military man Palinkas, who spoke about the depths of Russian invasions into local armed forces. And details about Orban’s son, who is building a career as a military man and sending people on knowingly questionable operations.

Five. Powerful showers of intelligence reports about Szijjarto’s conversations with Lavrov and especially Orban’s admission that he is ready to be Putin’s mouse.

Six. The Magyars campaigned well. He had five to six meetings a day in every corner of Hungary. This helped show that he is not a spoiled metropolitan dandy with a cappuccino on a banana but a leader who listens to everyone.

Seven. The Magyar hit with the same argument that once brought Viktor Orban into big politics. After his ex-wife signed a decree pardoning the p&d@f1la in April 2023, Peter wrote a devastating post about how corrupt Hungarian leaders hide behind women’s skirts. He also resigned from his position at a state-owned company and joined the popular YouTube channel, Partizan.

The devastating view of corruption drew attention in Hungarian society. And many paid attention to the adorable, tongue-tied blond. Because before, only journalists of the level of Szobolcs Pánya, whom Szijjártó and Orbán branded as Sorosites and agents of Brussels, had spoken about such things.

Magyar successfully used the moment and soon called on concerned Hungarians to a rally. The event gathered about 30,000 Hungarians, and thus, the creation of a new opposition party was announced.

As a reminder, as of the morning of April 13, the voting results in Hungary have been almost completely processed. According to the calculations, the opposition party “Tisa,” led by Peter Magyar, is leading by a wide margin, with 98.94% of the votes.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has lifted its recommendations for citizens to refrain from traveling to Hungary. The department now expects the election results to lead to the normalization of relations between our countries, and Ukraine is ready to work towards this goal.
