Iranian strike drones have attacked the United Arab Emirates, hitting a key oil hub and an international airport.

This was reported by CNBC.

One of the targets of Iran’s attack was the oil hub in Fujairah, which caused a massive fire at the facility. Experts are currently trying to contain the fire.

As noted, there is no information about casualties, however, oil transshipment operations have been temporarily suspended.

“Fujeira, one of the world’s leading crude oil and fuel storage centers, is located on the east coast of the UAE and serves as a key shipping hub for the entire region,” the publication says.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps previously stated that US interests in the United Arab Emirates, including ports, were targets for strikes.

At the same time, Iranian state media called on residents and people working in the area of the ports of Fujairah, Jebel Ali, and Khalifa to evacuate and warned that American military personnel were allegedly present there.

In addition, drones attacked Dubai International Airport, hitting a fuel depot there, causing a fire.

The airport later announced the resumption of a “limited” flight schedule.
