Iran is a source of problems: the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on Israel’s attack on Iran

Ukraine is following events in the Middle East against the backdrop of Israel’s attack on Iran and calls for stabilization and prevention of civilian casualties.

This is stated in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Aware of the risks of further destabilization of the entire region, we state that continued hostilities may have negative consequences for international security and global financial stability, especially in oil markets,” the Foreign Ministry writes.

At the same time, they recalled that Iran supports the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine and provides the latter with weapons.

The Foreign Ministry noted that the Iranian regime is the source of many problems in the Middle East and beyond.

The ministry expressed its belief that peace and stability in the Middle East is in the interests of the entire international community, and the security of Europe and the Middle East are linked.

“In this context, we call on the international community to take joint and decisive action to overcome modern security threats and coordinate the deterrence of a group of aggressive regimes – Russia, Iran, and North Korea,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry adds.

Recall that on the night of Friday, June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation against Iran and massively attacked nuclear and military facilities.

Earlier it became known that Iran refused to participate in negotiations with the United States regarding its nuclear program, scheduled for June 15 .
