Iran has rejected a United States proposal with potential conditions to end the war in the Middle East.
This was reported by Press TV.
According to an unnamed official, the end of the war will occur on Tehran’s terms and within the deadline set by it.
“Iran will end the war when it chooses to do so and when its own conditions are met,” the official said.
He is convinced that Iran will continue to strike the enemy until the US meets its demands.
It is noted that the White House is negotiating through various diplomatic channels. However, Iran considers the demands “excessive and disconnected from reality with failures on the battlefield.”
At the same time, Iran is ready to conclude a peace agreement if a number of conditions are met, including cessation of aggression and guarantees that war will not happen again, payment of war damages and reparations, etc.
Trump previously said that the US and Iran had held talks, following which he ordered a five-day halt to strikes .
Later, the Iranian Foreign Ministry reported that there were no direct negotiations with the US , and Trump did not abandon his military plans.
Recall, on February 28, the United States launched a military campaign in Iran .
As US Vice President J.D. Vance said, the main goal of the US regarding Iran is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons .
