Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has threatened the United States with “irreparable harm” if it participates in Israel’s strikes on its nuclear program.

The words of the Iranian leader are quoted by the BBC.

Khamenei’s statement was read out by a presenter on Iranian state television against a static image of the spiritual leader. The reasons why the ayatollah did not speak in person remain unknown.

Perhaps this is a security measure to protect the supreme leader of Iran, as Trump previously stated that the US knows his location.

Khamenei had previously appeared on air after the start of the Israeli attacks, which have been ongoing since Friday.

“Any military involvement by the US in this area will undoubtedly cause irreparable harm to them,” said Iran’s supreme leader.

He also urged Iranian officials to continue their work “with strength and faith in God.”

“God will certainly and undoubtedly lead the Iranian people to victory,” he said.

Recall that on the night of Friday, June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation against Iran and massively attacked nuclear and military facilities .

In addition, Donald Trump has escalated his rhetoric against Iran, demanding its “unconditional surrender” and declaring full US control over the country’s airspace.

Recall that on the night of Wednesday, June 18, Russia and the United States raised doomsday planes , which are used as headquarters in the event of nuclear war.
