Iranian UAV operators launched “shaheeds” over Ukraine – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the first Shahed attack drones that Russia used to strike Ukraine were controlled by Iranian operators.
This was reported by the RBC-Ukraine news agency.
When asked if Zelensky was afraid of opening “another front” and becoming an enemy of Iran through aid to Middle Eastern countries, he replied that Tehran is a long-time ally of Moscow.
In particular, Iranian UAV operators taught the Russians how to use “shaheeds”, because they did not know how.
“There were no Russian operators, there were operators from another country, the country where the “shaheeds” came from, because they needed to be trained. They trained them in a real war,” Zelensky explained.
In addition, according to the president, Iran has transferred a significant number of artillery shells and missiles to the Russian occupiers.
Earlier, the SBU reported in absentia about suspicion to Iranian General Abdollah Mehrabi . He is suspected of supplying engines for Shahed suicide drones, which Russia uses against Ukraine.
Recall that the EU has information about Iran sending ballistic missiles to Russia , but there is currently no guaranteed evidence of this.
