Is a ceasefire possible in 2025: Budanov gave a forecast

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, stated that a ceasefire on the Ukrainian-Russian front should be achieved in 2025.
He said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense’s GUR, this should happen as soon as possible and by the end of this year .
As he explained, a ceasefire requires the involvement of three parties — Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.
“Is it realistic to do this – yes. Is it difficult – no. This requires at least three parties – Ukraine, Russia and the USA. And we will achieve this position ,” Budanov assured.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said that 100 days have passed since Russia rejected the US proposal to implement a ceasefire .
Recall that on May 30, during a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, Russia named the conditions for a ceasefire – the cessation of mobilization in Ukraine and the halting of Western weapons supplies.
By the way, the Russian Federation demands that Ukraine destroy all Western weapons it received during the war.
