Is evacuation from Kyiv being considered: the Kyiv City State Administration gave an answer
There is currently no talk of evacuating the population in Kyiv. The city authorities assure that the situation is under control, and all services continue to work, primarily for those who cannot take care of themselves.
This is reported by hromadske with reference to the Kyiv City State Administration.
The city administration says that special attention is being paid to the elderly, people with disabilities, and those who need outside help. Kyiv residents are asked to notify district administrations or the Department of Social and Veteran Policy if there are people nearby who are currently having difficulty coping on their own.
The network of pump rooms continues to operate in the capital – over 170 points, most of which can function even during power outages thanks to generators. The municipal pharmacy network “Pharmacy” also operates continuously.
The Kyiv City State Administration emphasizes: the main task of the city is to ensure that Kyiv residents have water, heat, medicines, and basic services even in difficult conditions. That is why heat supply, water supply, and sewage facilities have been provided with backup power wherever possible.
It was previously reported that on Friday morning, January 30, 378 multi-story buildings in Kyiv were left without heat supply .
We remind you that all districts of Kyiv currently have no water supply due to a power system failure.
