Is Putin planning a meeting with Trump and Xi: The Kremlin’s response

Moscow seems to know nothing about preparations for a meeting between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

This statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian media reports.

“We know nothing about the possibility of such a meeting,” Peskov said.

Peskov thus commented on The Times’s report that Putin, Xi and Trump could meet in September at a military parade in China to mark the end of World War II.

The publication recalled that earlier the US President and the head of China exchanged mutual invitations for visits, but did not determine specific dates. Putin, who had previously accepted the invitation from the Chinese side, has already confirmed his participation in this event.
