Is there an enemy advance near Volchansk: a military man spoke about the situation in the direction

The situation on the front line near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region remains difficult, but the Defense Forces are controlling it.

This was stated by the head of the communications unit of the Group of Forces “North”, Colonel Vadym Mysnyk, reports “ArmyInform”.

According to him, the situation in the direction changes daily, but the Russian occupiers do not have any critical advances there.

“We take into account the proximity of the border and Russia’s ability to quickly transfer units by rail, but the Defense Forces constantly monitor and promptly respond to all their actions,” the military officer assured.

As is known, the Russian group “Sever” is fighting against Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk. Intelligence is closely monitoring the transfer of enemy equipment and personnel, including small units.

“Even if they transfer a unit from Kursk, Sumy, or some other direction across the border, we already have information about it and even about the training and quality of these units,” Mysnyk explained.

He added that the Russians are now creating assault groups. They are not properly trained, but the Russians are sending them into battle by the dozens.

In addition, according to the testimonies of prisoners, the occupiers’ tasks often consist of seizing a specific building or industrial zone in order to shoot a video for propagandists.

Over the past 24 hours, in the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times near Vovchansk, Novovasylivka, Bolohivka, and Kamyanka.
