Israel accepted a ship with Ukrainian grain from TOT: details

The ABINSK vessel, which was transporting over 43,000 tons of wheat from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, was received at the port of the Israeli city of Haifa.

According to her data, 43,765 tons of grain were initially delivered from occupied Ukrainian ports to the Kavkaz port’s roadstead. There, it was transshipped onto the Russian bulk carrier ABINSK.

After that, the ship was in Kerch in the occupied Crimea, from where it departed on March 17, 2026. Since March 23, it has been awaiting permission to enter Israel, and on April 12, it was received at the port of Haifa.

The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine notes that in 2025, Russia exported more than 2 million tons of grain grown in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The intelligence also explains that Russia uses ship-to-ship schemes in the Kavkaz port area to hide the origin of the grain. This practice allows ships to avoid calling at ports on the Ukrainian territorial sea and reduces the risk of accusations of illegal trade.

It was previously reported that Egypt will no longer accept grain that Russia exports from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and at the same time plans to increase imports of Ukrainian products.
