US President Donald Trump announced that Israel has agreed to terms for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza. According to him, US representatives held “long and constructive” talks with the Israeli side.

The American leader published a corresponding post on his social network Truth Social.

He emphasized that Israel has accepted the “necessary conditions” for establishing this ceasefire, and the United States will work to engage all parties to the conflict in a peaceful resolution during its duration.

“I hope that Hamas will agree to this agreement in order to stabilize the situation in the Middle East, because right now it is only getting worse,” Trump added.

In addition, he noted the role of Qatar and Egypt, which have made significant efforts to advance the peace process and will deliver the final version of the agreement. Official Israel has not yet commented on the American leader’s statement.

As a reminder, on the morning of June 24, Iran launched several ballistic missiles towards Israel. The attack occurred shortly after former US President Donald Trump’s statement that a ceasefire agreement had allegedly been reached between Iran and Israel .

As reported, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the country has agreed to a ceasefire with Iran, which was previously announced by US President Donald Trump.

By the way, oil prices fell sharply after Donald Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel , which reduced fears of disruptions to oil supplies from the Middle East – one of the world’s key oil-producing regions.
