Israel launched a massive attack on Lebanon after the ceasefire

Israel has once again intensified hostilities in Lebanon. The country’s army has launched a series of powerful airstrikes and expanded its ground operation in the south of the country.

According to the agency’s sources, the Israeli military has advanced beyond the so-called “yellow line” – a buffer zone on the border with Lebanon. However, details about the scale of the offensive or the exact areas of the operation are not yet disclosed.
Israel carried out at least 120 airstrikes on various targets in Lebanon on Tuesday, effectively jeopardizing a ceasefire that was declared on April 16 to end fighting between the Israeli army and the Hezbollah group.
The publication also notes that the strikes on Lebanon took place almost simultaneously with the US attack on southern Iran, which Tehran called a violation of another ceasefire agreement.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that at least 31 people were killed and 40 others were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
